[Forwarding] How to Use Purchase Order (PO) Based Transport Management
Digital Import Logistics Forwarding Service - ShipDa
PO (Purchase Order) based transportation management feature has been updated.
Let's learn in detail how to use it.
[1. How to Register a Purchase Order]
(1) Register Purchase Order: Click the button to open the 'Register Purchase Order' popup.
(2) Enter Product Name(*Required): Enter the name of the product you are purchasing.
(3) Enter Exporter Information(*Required): Enter the information of the exporter (seller) selling the product.
(4) Enter Invoice Amount (Optional): Enter the amount for payment.
(5) Enter PO Number(*Required): Enter the PO number agreed upon with the exporter.
(6) Upload PO Documents (Optional): Upload documents related to the PO.
? When you click the 'Complete Registration' button, it is registered normally and listed with the status 'Registered Complete'.
[2. How to Request Transport]
You can select a registered purchase order and request transport immediately without fetching separate quotes.
Based on the information you entered, ShipDa will automatically update transport information after contacting the exporter.

(1) Select PO: Select the PO case in the 'Registration Complete' state.
(2) Click Transport Request: Click the transport request button.
(3) Cancel: Delete the PO.
? The PO in the 'Registered Complete' state changes to 'In Confirmation' state.
[3. Viewing Transport Details]
ShipDa automatically generates a request based on transport information after contacting the exporter.
? As soon as the transport request is automatically generated, the status changes from 'In Confirmation' to 'In Progress'.
(1) Viewing Transport Details: You can view the transport details included in the PO in detail.
One PO may include multiple transport requests as shown in the diagram below.

(2) Checking Remaining Quantity
After conducting transport shipping, there may be remaining quantities in the PO.
You can check for remaining quantities through a display like '1 case not planned for shipping (indicates that there is remaining quantity yet to be shipped)'.
[4. Completion]
The PO is completed when all transport cases included in the PO are completed (or canceled, rejected).

The related purchase order (PO) functions will continue to be updated.
We actively want to reflect our customers' opinions on improvements.
If you have any suggestions, please leave them at qna@ship-da.com.
Thank you.
