Here is a guide on how to collaborate with domestic forwarders when importing under trade terms C Term.

[Collaboration with domestic forwarders in case of trade term C Term]

1. C Term is a condition where the exporter delivers goods to a "domestic port/airport." Hence, as a rule, the exporter designates a domestic forwarder in collaboration with the overseas forwarder selected (Nomi) locally. Even if requested to ShipDa, this will be processed, and we cannot control the quotation.
2. To resolve this, tell the exporter that you want to designate a "domestic forwarder" before shipment (before BL, AWB issuance). Guide the exporter with the forwarder's company name / contact person & contact information & email address. Subsequently, the exporter may request the overseas forwarder selected (Nomi) locally to change the collaborating forwarder domestically.

[Limitations of C Term]

1. If a domestic forwarder is not designated as "ShipDa," the provided quotation cannot be processed. The freight rates we have guided apply only if our company is listed in the BL(AWB).
2. You cannot choose the schedule yourself. ShipDa provides section-wise schedule information when checking quotations. Under this trade term, you must proceed based on the final schedule notified by the local overseas forwarder. However, it is possible to guide/decide the shipment to the exporter based on the schedules confirmed within our service.
